Whether you're ready to go fully vegan or you're looking to incorporate a few more plant-based meals into your diet, aspiring to eat more fruits, vegetables, and legumes will help you enter the new year with health and energy.

Here are 3 things to know before making the change to a plant-based diet:

  1. It doesn't have to be all or nothing. You can commit to eating more plant-based foods without pledging to become vegan for the rest of your life.

  2. Be wary of influencers, who appear to have miracle cures and incredible weight loss stories. This is a health journey above all else.

  3. Listen to your body. It will tell you what it needs once you learn how to tune in with mindfulness.
